Space has been on the human imagination and mind for years, inspiring unique art to be created from it. Space and Art continue to flourish and there have been countless pieces created from the use of space. NASA has been one of the main, if not the only front runner with their knowledge of space and exploration. They have a new and unique department specifically for the arts that act as a bridge between science and art. Artists have had new opportunities to utilize space missions to create new art pieces. UCLA's Plasma Physics Group looks deeper into the interactions that occur in space. They recognize the authenticity of the plasma phenomena that can be so aesthetically pleasing. This new awareness for such a unique idea has lead to collaborations seen across the world with the use of art. The Powers of Ten project has been able to get groundbreaking information on the new scale of the universe and everything it entails. The microscope used on the world of vastness was able to illustrate such elaborate images, some like that have never been seen before. This project was able to serve as a stepping stool for the connection of Space and Art. The SVET has various researchers and artists who are encouraged to further explore the cosmos through a different lens. With the combination of art and science, KSVET wants to bring the interconnection of these special domains to light. The relationship's seen between Art and Space are only evolving, creating new work, opportunities, and visuals for all to enjoy.
